“The average age of living is going up, therefore everyone must be getting healthier.” – Modern Medicine’s viewpoint. Australia’s life expectancy is 82.45 years according to Wikipedia for 2015. Where does this number come from? For it to be an average, half the population would have to die above 82.45 years of age while half died under it. If you count all your friends and family who have passed away in your life time, does this number seem right to you?
No, this number is based off the average life span if everyone was to die by ‘natural causes’. How many of the people that you know have died by ‘natural causes’?
Chronic illness is all caused by how we treat our bodies. If we are unhappy in life, and we drink and we smoke – it’s more than likely we are going to get cancer early in life. Why is it that some people can smoke all their lives and never have a serious health issue yet someone who doesn’t even smoke can get lung cancer?
Metaphysical causes of disease is the answer and it all relates to the energy centres of our body, chakras.
Chakras are swirling pools of energy along our spine which correspond to certain aspects of ourselves. A useful diagram of chakras is below.
You may notice one or more chakras is blocked for you.As human beings, we need to input 3 things into our body to have a healthy and happy life. Assuming shelter and safety is taken care of, we first need water then food. The third thing we need is energy from the universe, god or the force from Star Wars. Whatever you would like to call it, there is something greater than ourselves which helps guide us through our lives. How we receive energy from the universe is through our chakras. From the above diagram, you can see what each individual chakra’s function is and what happens when it is blocked. Personally, I have had big problems with my throat and my root chakra throughout my life and are constantly working to clear them.
What happens if our chakra is blocked for a long amount of time? We get disease associated with each chakra generally located in the area where we have the blockage.
So what do we do when we acknowledge that we have a block in one or more of our chakras? We heal ourselves by stopping whatever is causing us pain. For example, If you were getting a headache from writing a paper that we did not want to do, what should be our course of action?
- Take a painkiller and keep working
- Take a break and rest until your headache has gone away
We put ourselves under the pump to get things done and will do anything to complete our task for those we want to impress. Maybe we should listen to our body and take the steps necessary to care for it when it needs help. Each ache and pain we feel is our body telling us that we have a problem there and we need to fix it.
Modern medicine seeks to treat the mind, body and soul separately when they are all intertwined. When we go to the doctor and we have a particular disease, does the doctor ask you why do you think you have gotten this disease? What has been going on in your life which has been causing you stress? Let me do an energy scan to see what chakras are blocked in your body. Are any of these things said to you by the typical doctor out of medical school? No, because people want quick solutions to the problem they are having and don’t want to take responsibility for their own actions.
Our world is so messed up that people are willing to take pills for the rest of their life to deal with a medical problem they have caused for themselves through their life circumstances than to confront the problem and start the healing process. The healing process is slow and not easy, however the end goal is that we are happy. What is worth more to you?
So now that I have discussed why we get chronic illness, how do we heal ourselves?
Well there are many ways that can heal our chakras, eastern medicine has been practicing some of these for thousands of years. Some examples are;
- And many more I have missed, feel free to add them in the comments
All these alternative medicines are not instant fixes and rely on the individual to make changes in their lives to fix the root of the problem. This can be eating healthy, quitting that job that you hate, stopping the addiction we have in our lives to cope with whatever circumstances we dislike and start doing the things we enjoy. You will find if you start to listen to your body and not hide from what it has to say, you will find all the answers have been there all along.
There is so much more to come in the next blog posts about our lives and how they connect to the universe, but we have to start at the beginning before I can get into frequency and why my blog is called this. But I hope this can help you understand your body just a little bit more.
Take 5 minutes before you get up and start your day, just wake up that little bit earlier and just go and sit down in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouse. Focus on your breath and let all your cares and worries go just for this time. Listen to your body and how it feels and if you have any pain anywhere. At the end of your meditation, set yourself an alarm for 5 minutes go look at the above diagram at where your pain is. Figure out what lesson is the universe trying to teach you.
Till next time
